Curated by Monte Clark, the exhibition includes artwork by Roy Arden, Karl Blossfeldt, Karin Bubaš, Walker Evans, Robert Frank, Greg Girard, Holger Kalberg, Owen Kydd, Evan Lee, Scott McFarland, Alex Morrison, Jeff Wall, Carleton Watkins, and Stephen Waddell – the collection captures the delicate balance between creation and decay. The selected works span serene and unsettling imagery, celebrating the vibrant triumph of blossoms while embracing the quiet forces of their inevitable unravelling.

The Chelsea Flower Show in London – often described as the “Olympics of flower festivals” – marks the start of the floral season. This celebrated annual event transforms its iconic grounds into a riot of colour and fragrance, showcasing the latest trends in horticulture. The meticulous displays evoke a sense of inspiration and rejuvenation, inviting visitors to wander through lush landscapes filled with blooming tulips, fragrant roses, and whimsical wildflowers. Yet, amidst the vibrant chaos, a haunting reminder of fragility lingers – flowers wilting, petals falling, and beneath the surface, a poignant recognition of impermanence.
