The end result of Emily Hermant’s work is so refined, the intended meaning so sophisticated, and the artistic details so perfectly executed, that the rough-and-ready process is hard to believe.
Hermant has been working with salvaged Ethernet cables and telecom wires for around a decade, collecting them and repurposing them into 2D and 3D sculptures overlayed on top of blown-up satellite images.
